I'm really glad
Celebrating motherhood is something we at KSP have always cherished! There is nothing like the bond between a mom and her children. It is one of the main reasons why I do what I do…and it never gets old. I seek out those snuggly, giggly, and silly moments and LIVE to photograph them. Those moments cannot be replicated and hold such a special place in our mom’s hearts. Those are the memories and experiences that I want all moms to hold dearly.
Mamas are usually the ones who are snapping the photos of their families, and while it is amazing to have lots of photos, mom isn’t always in them! We’re on a mission to change that. This is our fourth year of offering photos of Mother’s Day, and our favorite event of the year!
Get in the frame with your kiddos for a session that shows #proofofmom, y’all. You won’t regret it! Looking back on these snippets of time will not only serve as a precious memory, but something for your family to cherish for years to come.
We kicked off these sessions with two of my favorite moms at Yokota Air Force Base. One of them is celebrating her FIRST Mother’s Day, and I was lucky enough to capture these moments with Megan and Emme! I’ve known Megan for a long time now, and I am so grateful to have both of these ladies in my life! When Megan told me she was pregnant, Joe and I were still living in Mississippi waiting to move to Japan. She emailed me asking to book a lifestyle session when we got to Yokota. I was like, “we’ll of course!” but I was also super confused, we were just texting one another! That was until I checked the email attachment…WHICH WAS AN ULTRASOUND WITH A LITTLE BABY BUMP! I mean, you guys…I kind of had a feeling something was up, but this was the best. news. ever! Needless to say, we did have that lifestyle session when Emme was born the month after I moved here! 😉
Being able to photograph this duo and the whole Acosta crew is something I always look forward to, and I am so grateful to have worked with some of my fav ladies to capture Megan’s first Mother’s Day!
