I'm really glad
Just before Easter, I headed over to Mary Beth and Skylar’s (and their dog, Josie…we can’t forget her!) home for their daughter Adair’s newborn photos. Skylar’s mom was even in town for our session, which made for some precious moments with her new grand baby.
Spring in Mississippi is my favorite season. The weather starts to warm up to a comfortable temperature, the light is so pretty, and all of the cute monogrammed bows and accessories get shown off. Adair already has the most adorable collection started. Her sweet swaddle and diaper cover was adorned with a beautiful pink monogram. She cozied up with her mom and dad, happy to be cuddled in their arms…and then…Mary Beth changed Adair into her bunny outfit.
You guys. I can’t even pretend to play it cool for this one. I totally squealed. A baby in a bunny outfit? Yes please! I will take that all day long!
We finished using a cradle that Mary Beth’s dad and granddad crafted, making this session even more memorable. Adair was so content in that cradle, especially when we added a beautiful blanket from Mary Beth’s grandmother. She drifted in and out of sleep before giving me one more big smile to end our time together.
