You guys! This is so exciting. We are taking our most asked questions about photography from the KSP community, and providing an online hub of answers! Think of this as your personal photography resource for ALL the tips and tricks when it comes to dealing with manual mode.
Okay, so what the heck is manual mode when it comes to photography? Manu mode is when YOU the user, get to decide every little setting that gets plugged in to your camera to make your photo happen. Before you go running for the hills and put your camera back to auto, let me tell you WHY shooting in manual is so life changing.
When you make the plunge to fully commit to manual mode, you will never look back. This is where you need to start if you wanna up your photography game in a big way.
One of the MOST asked questions I get is, “what setting should I shoot in?”
The answer? MANUAL MODE! There are tons of settings on your camera, and believe me, I know it is so easy to flip that dial to any other setting BUT manual…but that won’t help you elevate your knowledge in the long run. What will help you, is being able to understand exactly why manual mode is your friend, and not an intimidating enemy.
