I'm really glad
Our guest bedroom had some serious problems. Mostly it resembled fungus. Because it was green. And hideous. Putrid is a good word for it actually.
So one weekend, I got all sassy and I thought to myself, “hey, I’m going to paint this bad mamajama.” which i actually did wind up painting. It only took me two months to actually finish painting. I despise painting and we all know that.
Finally the walls were coated with a cool blue paint that reminded me of some whimsical fairy fog. Yes, I watch too much Once Upon a Time. Deal with it people.
In picture format, this is how the transition rolled.
Clearly it isn’t too fancy and excuse my grainy iphone pictures…but you know what? It’s a hellulva lot better than green vomit everywhere. Everything was green in there from the switch plates to the damn door handles. As time trucks on, we’ll probably replace the bed set and spice it up with a new comforter (luella bit a bunch of buttons off this one…biotch) but for right now I am very happy to say it is so much better than before. I’ll be doing my happy dance when we can replace the green fan in there. Yes folks, they actually got a green ceiling fan to match their green walls and green light plate covers.
I kind of dig it right now. It’s really calm and cool feeling. Our back yard is in full bloom and the view from that room is awfully pretty!
