I'm really glad
2014 left with a bang, and here we are with a brand spankin’ new year in front of us. The Christmas decorations came down last week, and now our little house is a blank canvas for the remainder of the winter season. Is it just me, or does it feel like after the big winter holidays roll around, there aren’t really any appropriate holiday decorations? Sure, there’s Valentine’s Day, but I can’t justify hanging hearts until February at least. I need something to take me from Christmas and into the New Year. Something sassy and sparkly to tide me over until those little chubby cherubs are socially acceptable. I want some winter shimmer, darnit!
Thankfully, my dear friend Emily at Four Season Design Co. instructed me on how to craft a beautiful, bright, and very shimmery winter wreath for this specific dilemma. After I futzed with my wreath for about a month (seriously), I felt like it was just right to display.
Now, my skills (and patience) are absolutely no where up to par with Ms. Emily’s. The wreaths she designs and creates are an execution of design brilliance and sheer fabulous talent. Have you ever attempted to make your own mesh wreath only to have it come “unraveled” after tugging it into place? Emily works with only the best materials, which means that there is no unraveling, the embellishments stay put, and you don’t have to deal with torn up hands or frustrated trips to Hobby Lobby to buy yet ANOTHER bolt of mesh.
My advice to you for stress free decorating? Head to Four Season Design Co. and let Emily take care of you. She can design any kind of wreath imaginable for whatever season you’re currently craving. From shimmery mesh to rustic burlap, the possibilities are truly endless. Looking for a little something more to spruce up your abode? Nothing says put together more than a stylish mantle swag to take a room from lacking to lovely.
